WestWater Engineering completed the Preliminary and Final Design through construction for the Town’s raw waterline replacement. The project consisted of installation of approximately 5,000-feet of 12-inch raw waterline from the Town’s treatment plant to the connection of two raw water transmission mains from different drainage basins. A unique manifold system was designed at the connection point of the transmission mains to provide water from either drainage basin or a blending of water to the Town of Palisade or Ute Water.
WestWater Engineering prepared preliminary flow calculations and pipeline costs for replacement of 24,000-feet of raw waterline to supply both the Ute Water and Palisade water treatment plants as part of the Town’s hydroelectric reconnaissance study and grant application to generate power at a hydroelectric plant.
