WestWater completed biological surveys for a trail system on lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management Grand Junction Field Office.

Species of concern included Jone’s bluestar (BLM sensitive species) and Colorado hookless cactus (USFWS threatened species). WestWater assisted COPMOBA with trail design and alternative alignments where special status species of plants were observed.
