WestWater completed wetland delineations on a 42 acre mine site near Ouray, Colorado.

The project included increasing the size of a waste rock pile, removal of an existing mine water pond, and the creation of an upgraded mine water pond.

WestWater worked with the client to minimize impacts to wetlands and other aquatic resources, then prepared a WOUS mitigation plan for the mine water pond.
