WestWater Engineering completed a Water system Master Plan for a domestic water system that provides service to an area encompassing approximately 50 square miles and consists of two high mountain spring water supplies, raw water transmission piping, filtration and chlorination treatment, finished water storage facilities and approximately 60 miles of distribution system with 14 individual pressure zones.
The Master Plan includes an assessment of the existing water system to identify the ultimate capacities of individual components of the system and existing demands in order to estimate the reserve capacity that may be available for future water taps.
It also provides a capital improvement plan to identify system upgrades needed to either improve the level of service provided to existing customers, or to increase system capacity, including a financial assessment estimated capital investments and tap fee revenue generated prior to implementation of improvements
